Subhasis Chatterjee, M.D. is an assistant professor of surgery at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center in Houston, TX.


Dr. Chatterjee is a triple-boarded CV surgeon/intensivist with a dedicated focus on the critical care of cardiothoracic surgical patients with a perspective as both a cardiothoracic surgeon and intensivist. He is dedicated to excellent patient outcomes and multidisciplinary collaboration. He has participated and served as an investigator in a number of clinical trials.

His clinical focus is in the perioperative care of aortic surgical patients, vasoplegic shock and the rational use of vasopressors, mechanical circulatory support/ECMO, decision support and critical care scoring systems for the care of cardiothoracic surgical patients. He has lectured extensively on a variety of topics in CV critical care.
