V. Seenu Reddy, MD, MBA, FACS is a cardiothoracic surgeon at HCA ‘s TriStar Cardiovascular Surgery in Nashville, TN. Dr. Reddy received his MBA from Vanderbilt University Owen School of Management with Beta Gamma Sigma honors and graduated from medical school at the University of Alabama School of Medicine (UAB) with Clinical Honors.


His undergraduate work was at Amherst College where he graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Neuroscience. Dr. Reddy completed his general surgery residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and his cardiothoracic surgery residency at Emory University Medical Center. He specializes in percutaneous and minimally invasive heart surgery, beating heart surgery and endovascular surgery. Dr. Reddy is an active member of the STS Workforce on Coding and Reimbursement and the current President of the 21st Century Cardiovascular Surgery Society. He was past president of the Nashville Surgical Society and serves on the Tennessee State Board of Health’s Committee on Perfusion. He has published over 40 scientific papers, 10 book chapters and has presented at national and international meetings in the field of surgery. He serves on the Board of the Nashville Academy of Medicine. He is on the advisory boards of Clayton Associates FCA Fund VI, JumpStart Foundry and Procured Health, as well as HealthTrust and McKinsey & Co.’s Medical Advisory Board. Prior to his medical career he worked at Salomon Brothers in NYC and Bain & Company in Boston.
