Has over 25 years’ experience in the Cardiothoracic ICU which also included roles as Supervisor and Educator.
In 2017, Championed the ERAS Cardiac Surgery team that developed, implemented, and published the first ERAS Cardiac Surgery Protocol used in the US.
In January 2020 took the role as the ERAS Coordinator for all WakeMed health systems which currently manages 20 ERAS pathways.
