Dr. Stoppe is a Professor of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine at Charité in Berlin and Würzburg University, Germany. He leads several major international clinical trials in perioperative and critical care medicine and has established a global research network dedicated to interventional nutrition studies, working closely with collaborators worldwide.


Through these international partnerships, Dr. Stoppe’s research has secured numerous grants, including funding from the German Research Foundation (DFG) and other third-party sources. His work encompasses a wide range of topics such as interventional nutrition, perioperative optimization, risk assessment, functional outcomes, guideline development, translational research, and organ protection strategies.
